Step 1 - Go to Resend.com
Resend.com is a great simple platform for sending emails. Click to Sign In and create an account if you haven't got one already.
Step 2 - Add API Key
If this is your first time logging in it will take you to their "onboarding" screen. This is a step-by-step guide to getting set up.
You will need to click Add API Key , this will be what we use later to connect your famous.ai project to your Resend Account.
Step 3 - Copy your API Key
Once you have generated your API Key you can copy it by clicking the icon on the right.
Step 4 - Send a Test Email
Click the Send email button to send a test email with your new API Key.
Step 5 - Check your inbox
Go to your email account and check the email has been received. Don't forget to also check your spam folder.
In Resend's dashboard, you can click Emails in their left-hand menu and it will show you all the emails that have been sent with your API Key. You should see your test email here.
Step 6 - Add your domain
As you can see in the example above, the email was sent from Resend's own [email protected] email address. To enable Resend to send emails from your own email address [email protected], you need to Add a Domain and verify it with Resend.
In the left-hand Menu above, click Domains

You will need to add some DNS settings to verify the domain. If you have Cloudflare you can connect and add them instantly, otherwise it will list the DNS settings you need to enter manually. These will need to be entered wherever you purchased your domain.
Step 7 - Connect to famous.ai
Now, back in famous.ai, tell the AI you want to send emails using your resend.com account.
Step 8 - Enter your Resend API Key
The AI will ask you to enter your API Key. This is the key we copied in Step 3 above. This is how your famous.ai app can send emails through your Resend dashboard.
Step 9 - Test in your app
Once your Resend API Key is added and your app is connected, try performing the action and testing that you can now successfully send emails.
